jimmyd _writes "Every once in a while I like to post some of the emails I receive that are in response to something I've written here. And just so we understand each other, I don't do so because simplyjimmyd.com is a democracy and a beacon of free speech. I don't really give a shit about giving a cyber-voice to others: It's just that I sometimes do so because I'm a lazy fuck and this is an easy way to fill some space on this site.

Now that we got that straight, I'll tell you about some guy named Michael who wrote in after reading my stories about the Janine/Rocco (cutting-the-tips-of-condoms) episode, and the story about the porn company owner who told AVN they could "shove" their nomination because they (AVN) needed twenty copies of the product.

Michael writes: JimmyD-- First let me tell you that I agree whole-heartedly with you about cutting condoms. I think you guys should put together a message board that black lists actors who do that sort of thing. You don't need that kind of shit in the industry...

Second, It's obvious that Rocco has never gotten a blow-job from a woman with ice in her mouth. This is one of the greatest sensations on the face of this planet. I first experienced this with a German chick, so I don't think it's a European thing... just a narrow-minded, knuckle dragging, machismo thing.

Thirdly, AVN needs twenty copies because they have at least that many judges and it's not like they all sit in a room together. He just needs to remember that when an inferior product (I may be making a *huge*
assumption about the quality of this person's product) sells better than his because it won an award, he has room to bitch. Store owners really do read AVN and use its recommendations on what to stock. I ersonally
would look at it as another marketing tool, but that's just me.

jimmyD sez: Thanks, Michael. Your two-cents are always welcome here... I'm a grossly underpaid member of the porn industry. Whoever's making big chunks of that 8 or 10 or 12 Billion Dollars everyone keeps talking about certainly ain't named JimmyD.

Later, Michael wrote in again with some more cents... or should I be saying "sense?"

Michael writes in again: On second thought, I was just reading an article on Reagan and his work with the Un-American Activities Comittee in Hollywood during the 50's and maybe a blacklist wouldn't be such a great idea.... Look at people like Charlie Chaplin who were exiled because of blacklisting. Innocent people could be blacklisted just because a director or producer doesn't like them.

Maybe just a good lawsuit to scare the shit out of idiots who cut condoms? Or maybe you could sic (name deleted) on them in a parking lot or a dark alley.

jimmyD sez: Actually, Michael, blacklisting has never and will never work in this biz, even though an occasional idiot occasionally and egotistically threatens to attempt it. You see, it's an accepted axiom in this business that one cannot flunk out of porn; nor can anyone exert enough influence to flunk someone out. That's just the way this shit works.

On a completely different subject, another Michael--this time uber-Director Michael Raven--writes in with some bible study stuff: Hey! Was watching the PAX clip of you and the XXX church pastor... um i hate to say it but he (the pastor) doesnt really know his own bible. His scriptural reference was to a passage in Mathew where Jesus says; " If a man looketh up on woman to lust after her, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart". Jesus did say we shouldnt look upon a woman and lust, but rather warned against an obsessive lusting that could lead to infidelity or other indescretions. The key phrase was "TO LUST AFTER HER." Perhaps he should research the Greek New Testament for some insight into the meaning of this passage.
