Being your basic nice guy, I broke my usually steadfast rule on press releases and printed the Shane's World promotional. Man, that'll teach me to be a nice guy. Only a run-of-the-mill asshole like myself could be so ignorant of the facts as they apply to Shane's World.

From what I've since learned, there's no Shane in Shane's World anymore! How this came to be is an all too familiar porn-tale where greed and betrayal are major players. But I'm not going to delve into that little Pornville story. That's for the professional gossip mongers, e.g., Luke Ford and Gene Ross, to write.

Can you believe it? There's no Shane in Shane's World! That's like ordering a burger and being served a sesame seed bun with only pickles and ketchup between its split halves.

Now, if truth be known, I've never seen a Shane's World video. I've only seen Shane. And I'm still mumbling 'homina homina hom hom homina' like a lust-twisted Jackie Gleason at the thought of her beautiousness. But let's say--actually, let's hypothesize-- I'm a big fan of the video series that bears her name. What would I be thinking these days? What would my dick be thinking? I probably started watching Shane's World just to j.o. to Shane. Now that's not to say there's ain't no one in the current crop of Shane's World vids to j.o. to, but primarily, I would think--if I were an ardent fan of the series--I would remain a fan because when all was said and done, I could grease up my manhood and abuse myself to the lovely image of Shane.

But Shane fans can't count on that... anymore.

And I'm thinking... that pretty much sucks.
