THE ANABOLIC/DIABOLIC EXODUS

There's been a virtual exodus of talent and directors from Anabolic/Diabolic in the past few months.
It began when Harry, aka Shecky, aka Moses Weiss led his client, Lexington Steele, out of porn-bondage. Moses Weiss parted the Red (Light District) Sea, wandered for about three minutes in the wilderness, and landed Lex a sweet production deal in the promised land with Dion's RLD. Since then, most all of the Anabolic/Diabolic Pharoah's directors have followed the path blazed by Moses and Lex.
Over at AdultDVDTalk.com there's been a lot of talk about the current state of Anabolic/Diabolic and its future.
Here's some bits and pieces from the postings:
DarthMorpheous posts: "I just read the post from Lecastel in the thread by Hardz titled, Anal Gape Fix. He has officially left Ana/Dia. He didn't sound like the parting was on good terms. There seems to be some resentment there. I would like to know the whole story with Ana/Dia. What the hell is going on over there? Nobody has reported anything in a while and the whole story hasen't come out yet."
Tom posts: "Now you add Lecastel and possibly Everhard to the list of ex-Anabolic directors, and what do you have? One guy left, John Strong. Unless this whole thing is a scam or an incredible re-structuring of Anabolic, I say they are out-of-business. To bad, they were revolutionary in their day."
SbandoBoy posts: "You ADT moles (Pontus, Darth) should really investigate about this new trend or fad in the biz: directors/performers who quit to become producers of themselves. Where's the gain? Is that a good or a bad thing for the consumers?"
jimmyD sez: Directors/performers becoming producers was one of my prognostications for 2003. And we're gonna see a whole lot more of it. Good for consumers? If ya ask me, yep.
The interesting thing about all this is Anabolic/Diabolic's silence on the whole matter. And if you ask me, it's the right thing to do. While your average publicist would want to be press releasing the shit of this, trying to spin some damage control, A/D's silence is creating even more hype and anticipation within the ranks of consumers. When they emerge out the other side of this, they'll probably be stronger than ever. Remember, this shit ain't brain surgery. There's plenty of guys out there who could take up the A/D sword and wield it like a true porn warrior.
I think MorbidThoughts post on ADT says it all.
MorbidThoughts posts: "I'm not worried at all. Someone new will take their places and make a name for themselves."
