 jimmyd _writes "I'm having problems with my laptop. It boots up, then the screen goes blank. The Sony Vaio manual said to pull the battery out, unplug from power, plug back into power and boot. Tried that, worked for a little bit, then took a nosedive again. Got it to work for awhile this morning, ran diagnostics--nothing seemingly wrong--de-fragged, ran a chkdsk/f, but it's still fuckin up. Oh, and it wouldn't boot in safe mode either. Power supply problem? How the fuck do I know? I don't think it's the hard drive. Maybe a Windows registry thing? A device conflict? Again, how the fuck do I know?

I will very briefly comment on the 'Rob Black wants to get back in Paul Fishbein's good graces' thing: If it's true, and that happens, don't be surprised-- this is a business built on whores and whoring and don't let yourself believe that all the whores are chics and all the whoring is done by chics. In fact, it's been my observation in the jizz bizz that females are the minority when it comes to who's a whore in the XXX biz.
I noticed that Flashman reprinted my comments on setgo.com. He thinks I'm trashing him and he wants to buy me a drink, No problem. What I said wasn't personal, dude. Just my take on shit.
How about that LFP/Borg Empire? What's with burying all those magazines (I hear HEVG ain't the one and only getting axed). Maybe it's the price you pay for all that assimilating? Resistance might be futile, but it comes with a pricetag! And since I hear Larry ain't exactly the generous type with employee salaries, that money has to come from somewhere. BTW, I hear the LFP/Borg's plan to assimilate VCA is nearly a done-deal. Someone should start up a 'Porn Workers Employment Placement Service' to find jobs for all these people.
