Luke Ford has a talent for pissing people off, and that's a fucking understatement.

I first met Luke when he began porn tattling on the net. Back then his site was read by about seven people. But his Matt Drudge inspired brand of yellow porn journalism soon made him read by thousands. And if there’s one thing that’s been a constant in Luke’s internet scribbling, it’s been his talent for really pissing people off.

Ford has recently landed in the crosshairs of two people-- some Hollywood journalist named Dave Robb, and VCA director Jim Holliday.

Dave Robb wrote this to Luke: "There is a park in Beverly Hills called Roxbury Park. It's on Olympic Blvd. near Century City. You name the time and I will meet you there at the north/west corner and I will beat the shit out of you.”

It's nice to know Luke's talent for bringing the wrath of others down on himself isn't limited to the jizz biz.

And according to a recent article on SetGo.com, Jim Holliday had an intermediary tell Luke, “… if you print one thing about him (Holliday), you're going to get the beating of your life.”

Of course, Luke doesn't scare easily, and so he immediately wrote exactly what he wanted to write about Holliday.

So now, once again, we have a couple of people who sure want to give Luke a beating! In fact, not since Hustler's Mike Albo seemed obsessed with bringing a world of pain into Luke's life have we seen this kind of Ford-bashing. But then, historically, there’s really nothing all that unusual about any of this.

What tickled me about these latest Luke Ford threats, specifically those allegedly coming from Jim Holliday, was the round of ass kissing that Luke’s reporting has prompted.

Today, on TheRealGeneRoss.com, Holliday had this to say about Luke Ford, and other porn news-and-gossip sites: “I have made the conscious decision to permit therealgeneross.com to be the only website I will even talk to. The others, when every once in a great while, they choose to run something, it's wrong or stupid.”

Later in the article, Holliday continued with: “So the crap you read on AVN, Luke Ford and all the various websites will be, plain and simple, trash.”

Now don’t get me wrong here. I’m not butt-hurt over Holliday’s words. I know Jim Holliday and I know the kind of authority he believes himself to be on all things porno. I’m also well aware of the kind of ego Holliday has—an ego that’s quite evident when he says things like, “I have made the conscious decision to permit therealgeneross.com to be the only website I will even talk to.”

Whoop-dee-fucking-doo! Being the sole cyber-conduit for the oh-so-important words (or as Gene sez, the "dulcet orations") from the mouth of Jim Holliday oughta launch Gene's traffic ratings into the stratosphere! I guess a few webmasters will now lose some sleep knowing they’ll not be permitted to share Jim Holliday’s words and opinions (of which he has more than many) on their websites. I know I’m sure as hell going to be really depressed for a few days over this.

And then the ass-kissing and dick-sucking gained momentum when Gene Ross had this to say: “While I'm gratified by his words, let me make it clear that I did not solicit Holliday's endorsement. But if those are going to be passed around, allow me to lend some to both topprotalent.com and Ksex Radio for bringing the industry some of the most entertaining and informative by-play it has seen in years.”

Well, that's all the crap I have to say about all this plain and simple trash...at least for now.
