Pistol Pete may have fired some blanks regarding his recent announcement of a pending deal between the very mysterioso porn-auteur, Slain Wayne, and Sineplex.

PP writes: "Hey Jimmy, Well, based on my wasted time working on the other side of the hill (Holly-weird), generally when a company and a director are in talks over a deal it's a painstaking, time-consuming effort all around. The turn around process is very slow. It would seem I still have a lot to learn in the realm of adult vs. mainstream.

I guess when I sent out my "press releases", it was assumed to be a "done deal". I set up the meeting with Slain Wayne and Sineplex. And to be honest, it was tentative and basically still is, essentially. It's out of my hands.

I love Slain's work and he's been a better friend than any of those self-absorbed bastards I hung around with in Hollywood. And I feel Sineplex has some some very innovative air in it's lungs.

The last thing I wanted to do was hurt Slain in any way. He's a pillar of inspiration for the creatively inclined (in this industry) who feel shuffled aside by porn politics and the bottom-line...$$$. I just wanted to make sure his vision (of Subvision Films) comes to fruition.

If Sineplex hasn't picked up his line for whatever reason (don't ask me!)- some company will and soon. I'm gonna put on my dunce cap and spend some quality time in the shipping dept. now.
