Would anyone be at all interested in Asia Carrera’s level of intelligence if she were anything but a cum guzzling porn whore? I know that sounds mean-spirited, and I’m really only saying it that way to get your attention. But the truth is, when it comes to Ms. Carrera, most people are more interested in the curve of her hips and ass and breasts, than the curve of her bell, i.e., her Bell Curve.

Maybe that doesn’t set too well with Asia. Maybe she feels she’s got something to prove because inside her well-developed body there’s also a well-developed mind: And it somewhat rankles her because she's well aware that her mind’s not what most of her fans are interested in.

The first time I met Asia was years ago at Sin City. She was doing cartwheels down the hallway for some reason. I asked one of my co-workers, “Who’s the retard?”

“Oh, that’s Asia Carrera. Don’t even wonder about it. She’s that way.”

I couldn’t help but think, “She’s what way? Odd? Whacky? Impulsive? Retarded?"

Trust me, the first three might apply, not the fourth.

Sometime later, I was told that Asia’s a pretty damn smart cookie (no fortune cookie pun intended). I heard how she learned all about HTML and computers and how she designed and operated her website without technical assistance from anyone. I’ll admit I was impressed. But when I really thought about it, I realized I was only impressed because she's a porn star. Most other women, i.e., women who don’t fuck in front of a camera for pay, wouldn’t surprise me (or most other guys) if and when we learned they mastered some computer skills… even advanced computer skills.

I guess we don’t expect much from our porn stars when it comes to gray matter. And when one of them actually demonstrates some higher levels of intelligence it really seems unusual; maybe even controversial. But perhaps that’s just the way it is. Perhaps many men feel the need to look down on women who do what porn stars do-- maybe that helps make their dicks to get hard. And maybe when one of them (i.e., one of them porn stars) gets uppity and shows some abilities beyond sucking a dick and/or taking a double-anal with a smile on her face, some men become a little shaken by this. It fucks with their stereotyped conventions of what and who these women really are.

And then when it’s said about someone like Asia: “Hey, She’s a fucking genius?” And then she actually demonstrates some of those intellectual abilities that people speak of, it creates a stir.

Personally, I like Asia. I don’t know her more than casually, but I have found her to be smarter than the average bear. Whether or not she’s a card-carrying MENSA genius, I don’t know and I don't care. I took the MENSA pre-test once and my impressive score indicated I was qualified to take the full test. Big fucking deal! I still don't know if that meant I'm smart, or it was just some creative marketing ploy to get me to pay to take the full-blown MENSA test. The one person it truly meant something to was my Mother who said, “You see Jimmy! You’re very smart. You just don’t apply yourself—that’s your big problem!”

Ahh well.

For the record, I want to say that I don’t have the slightest problem with a woman who can both make my dick hard and at the same time impress me with her intellect. In fact, that intellect makes my dick even harder.

Of course, that's not saying some good-looking, truly dumb bitch can't make my dick hard either. But that's another story.
