Is Kris Kramsky trying to turn Hustler Video into MiraMaXXX? In an article on AVN.com, Kramsky announces he intends to adapt “Octave Mirbeau's novel about a social-climbing chambermaid, and the upper-class home in which she works,” into a porn flick.

Kramsky says, “"It's a powerful and politically prescient film that speaks to the present day as much as of the time in which it was made,"

Powerful and politically prescient? A porn flick?

Kramsky goes on to say, “LFP is really excited about the film and they were prepared to allow me a budget of $450,000 to do it.”

$450,000? A porn flick?

Kramsky also told AVN, “Luis Bunuel in 1964 became the second filmmaker, after Jean Renoir, to adapt this story. However, Bunuel has updated the book by a quarter-century and veers from its words in order to stay true to its spirit."

Bunuel? Renoir? A porn flick?

I only have one question, does Kris Kramsky work in the same porn biz that I do? I’m beginning to wonder if *HIS* porn biz, and possibly the LFP/Borg themselves, exist in some other, parallel universe.
