 jimmyd _writes "According to a story running on PittsburghLIVE.com, the Rob Black/Lizzie Borden/Extreme Associates indictment is just the beginning of a new wave of indictments orchestrated by Attorny General John Ashcroft and aimed at halting the spread of obscenity in this country.
"Pornography producers and distributors are anticipating the next salvo in the U.S. Justice Department's renewed campaign against alleged obscenity, following the indictment in Pittsburgh of a California couple and their pornographic-video business." says the article.
Pittsburgh U.S. Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan is taking the lead in the prosecution. "In Western Pennsylvania, we are investigating other distributors of this type of material," she said. "I am aware ... that U.S. attorneys in other jurisidictions are also conducting investigations."
jimmyd sez: I was thinking of putting together a football-style pool for who gets busted next. But then I thought--theoretically--I could get sucked into one of these indictments and I don't want them adding some trumped-up gambling beef to it so I guess I'll just conduct a poll.
