In porn advertising, sometimes a potential problem is averted by a “nose.”

Vivid Entertainment’s new Sunset Boulevard billboard, featuring Jenna Jameson’s tits (and a bit more of Jenna as well), almost caused a furor but for a nose.

According to an article on Yahoo! Finance (click to read), another “Nipplegate” similar to the controversy generated by the recent unveiling of Janet Jackson’s breast was averted because (what would have been) one of Jenna’s nipples was hidden by some meatpuppet’s nose on the billboard.

Fortunately for the uncredited nose, both Hollywood and the West Valley will rest easier in the knowledge that America—once again—remains safe from irresponsible nipple flashing.
